Clock

I bought a watch, looked and admired
And why, go figure it out,
I even woke up for an hour at night
To see how they glow.

We can't understand you rich, by God
A friend told me, joking of course,
I apologized, for some reason, all the way,
Even though asking for an advance payment.

Yes, I gave myself not a cheap gift,
But life is like a game of billiards,
And in a drunken dope for a "holy cause"
I handed over that watch to the pawnshop.

What is it? Well, watch, and nothing more,
And the soul is filthy, hard.
How could I get so attached to you
Metal and leather, plastic and glass?

And, losing the habit of grabbing the sleeve,
I picked up so many names for myself ..
But the pluses - I began to get enough sleep,
And, they say, I became lighter in my soul.
